We're seeking a passionate, hands-on Distiller to join our production team in Exshaw, Alberta. Surrounded by the Canadian Rockies, this is an opportunity to work with an established Alberta craft distillery and play a key role in producing the high-quality spirits that define the Park Distillery brand. Distiller The Distiller will be responsible for day-to-day spirit production, including milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, blending, proofing, and quality control. The ideal candidate is technically minded, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing exceptional spirits while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment. We Love Perks! This Position Includes: Competitive salaries, $200 Welcome Gift Card to use at any BHC Venue 50% off food, bottles of wine & sake for yourself + a guest at all BHC venues Learning & Development allowance Cell phone allowance Extended health benefits with premiums completely paid for by BHC after 3 months RRSP matching program after 3 months Short Term & Long Term Disability coverage after 3 months Paid vacation + statutory holidays Paid community volunteer time What You'll Do: Execute daily distillery operations, including milling, mashing, fermentation, and distillation Monitor and manage fermentation and distillation processes to ensure consistency and quality Conduct quality control testing and maintain accurate production and batch records Manage spirit maturation, blending, proofing, and bottling Operate, clean, and maintain distillery equipment Follow and improve standard operating procedures and production systems Assist with new product development and recipe refinement Monitor raw materials, spirit inventory, and production yields Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production facility Follow all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Work collaboratively with the distillery and broader Park Distillery team Contribute to a culture of craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement What You Have: Previous professional experience in distilling, brewing, fermentation, or spirits production Strong understanding of fermentation and distillation principles, with mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and genuine passion for the craft spirits process Comfortable working independently and within a small, hands-on production team Experience with quality control, documentation, and SOPs is an asset; familiarity with Canadian distillery regulations is a plus Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (23 kg), and stand/work on your feet for extended periods Able to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs, and move throughout the production facility, performing repetitive physical tasks tied to production, cleaning, and material handling Comfortable working safely around heat, steam, water, production equipment, cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures Committed to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout shifts Banff Hospitality Collective is: https://www.banffcollective.com/ BHC is an equal opportunity employer.
