We’re seeking a Bar Manager to join us at Bluebird! Welcome to Bluebird, a wood-fired steakhouse featuring the best of Alberta beef including your favorite classic cuts and all-day-roasted Prime rib. You'll train and coach bartenders, and build server product knowledge along the way Lead by example, working alongside the bartenders, with a focus on hospitality and positivity Manage inventory to business levels, and ensure ordering, receiving, storing, and invoice processing are completed on time Create and maintain a drinks menu that complements the food menu and evolves with the seasons and trends Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance of the bar area Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and federal, provincial, and municipal laws Maintain professional restaurant image, including bar cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards Like us, you're proud to be part of BHC, and it shows in your commitment to our brand and team culture What You Have: Bartending experience required ProServe certification required Availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays required Supervisory or management experience is considered an asset Passion and knowledge of beer, mixology, and how to make traditional cocktails and create new ones Connecting with people and building trusting relationships comes easy to you Understanding of the importance of communication and workplace culture A collaborative working style and team focus Ability to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times Excellent communication skills Strong work ethic and a positive team player Banff Hospitality Collective is: https://www.banffcollective.com/banff-restaurants BHC is an equal opportunity employer.
